Structure and organization

Ostéopathie Québec is a non-profit association that represents some 1280 osteopaths in Quebec. Members meet at an annual convention to determine its orientation and activities. Members constitute the officials and various committees of the institution.

Board of Directors

Comprised entirely of Diplomas in Osteopathy, the Board of Directors meets regularly to assess the state of the practice and to ensure that all activities undertaken adhere to the founding values and principles of the profession.

The Professional Accounts Committee

This committee (comité révision des politiques des honoraires fixes, des dépenses et frais de déplacement) is responsible for revising billing structures for fixed honorariums, expenses and transportation expenses.

The Polling Committee

This committee (comité Sondage auprès des membres) works to identify the concerns and interests of all members.

This committee (comité sur les Règlements généraux) oversees the evolution of the association and ensures that members respect all regulations.

This committee (comité Gouvernance et éthique) advises and supports the Board and ensures consistency in the application of good-governance and ethics regulations.

The committee (comité de la relève étudiante ) determines the needs of interns and future graduates in osteopathy (I.O.).
